Description
A 12-year dataset from 2002 onward, processed from MODIS/Aqua satellite imagery, quantifies water clarity (euphotic depth) across the Great Barrier Reef. The project, managed by the Australian Ocean Data Network, analyzes relationships between river discharge events and seasonal/annual turbidity variations. It integrates remote sensing data with predicted and observed tides, waves, wind, rain, and river flow data from sources like the Bureau of Meteorology.
