The Reef Rescue Marine Monitoring Program identified seagrass meadows in the Great Barrier Reef are in decline. This project from 2011-2013 quantified seagrass exposure to flood plumes using True Colour Remote sensing and measured biological responses to light, nutrients, and salinity via aquaria experiments. Results aimed to define water quality impact thresholds for seagrass protection guidelines.
