NESP MaC Project 1.5: Scoping Study for an Australian Wetland Inventory, 2021-2022

73 end-users and experts were consulted to identify knowledge gaps in mapping five key Australian coastal wetland habitats: seagrass, saltmarsh, intertidal macroalgae, shorebird habitat, and blue carbon. The project produced a report with 25 recommendations to guide future mapping and data integration for a national wetland inventory. This scoping study was conducted by Griffith University for the NESP Marine and Coastal Hub in 2021-2022.
