NESP MaC Project 5.2: Seagrass Monitoring Toolkit for Northern Australia Sea Country

A 2025-2026 project led by JCU, CDU, and ECU to develop a framework for Indigenous Ranger-led seagrass monitoring. It will produce spatial datasets, training materials, and a technical report to support conservation of species like dugongs and green turtles. The project aims to ensure consistent and reliable data collection across northern Australia.
