NESP TWQ Project 2.2.3 - Early warning systems to minimize the risk of box jellyfish sting

A project to develop an early warning system for box jellyfish stings on the Great Barrier Reef. The project compiled an open database from sting records, hospital data, and surf lifesaving information to create real-time forecasting models based on environmental conditions. This work was conducted by CSIRO and partners from 2016 to 2018.
