NESP TWQ Project 5.3 - Benthic light as ecologically-validated GBR-wide indicator for wate

The Great Barrier Reef is the focus of this dataset, which developed a water quality indicator based on benthic photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). The project experimentally estimated irradiance thresholds for ecosystem health and created a new remote sensing algorithm to map benthic light across the reef. This work was used for Reef Plan report cards, RIMReP monitoring, and cumulative risk assessments.
