Recent research shows only a portion of fine sediment from rivers reaches Great Barrier Reef coral reefs and seagrass meadows. This project, for the first time, characterized and traced the origin, fate, and nutrient bioavailability of this environmentally detrimental sediment using samples from flood plumes and resuspension events. The data was collected by the Australian Ocean Data Network and last updated in July 2026.
File formats are PNG and HTML, which may indicate the dataset consists of reports or visualizations rather than raw tabular data.
