New York State's dataset on COVID-19 testing results, beginning March 1, 2020. It is published by the New York State Department of Health via the Electronic Clinical Laboratory Reporting System (ECLRS) and is updated daily on a three-day reporting lag. The data includes daily positive test counts and case rates per 100,000 population for PCR and antigen tests.
Test counts are based on specimen collection date, and a person with multiple specimens on one day is counted once. Positive results at least 90 days apart are counted as new cases.
