The northern California Current Large Marine Ecosystem is monitored via high-frequency sampling along the Newport Hydrographic Line. Data on marine heatwaves, ocean acidification, hypoxia, and harmful algal blooms are distilled into indicators for juvenile salmonid habitat and survival. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) maintains this data in collaboration with academic and government partners.
Data is available in ESRI REST and PDF formats, which may require specific GIS or document processing tools.
