Infrared Orthorectified Mosaic Tiles for Lake Charles Louisiana

NOAA's Integrated Ocean and Coastal Mapping initiative produced infrared orthorectified mosaic tiles for Lake Charles, Louisiana. The imagery was captured between November 2009 and March 2010 using an Applanix Digital Sensor System. Each pixel has a ground sample distance of 0.50 meters.

Use Cases

• Analyze land cover classification using infrared spectral data from the orthorectified tiles.
• Monitor coastal erosion or wetland changes by comparing pixel values across the 0.50-meter GSD imagery.
