Tree ring width measurements from Paliza Canyon, New Mexico, provide a 314-year climate proxy record spanning from 292 to -22 calendar years before present. The data is archived by NOAA's World Data Service for Paleoclimatology as part of the International Tree-Ring Data Bank. This record was contributed by researcher Dean and last updated in the NOAA system in 1972.
Time notation uses 'calendar years before present (BP)', where 'present' is defined as 1950 CE; negative values indicate years after 1950. Users must cite the original study (Dean) when using the data.
