Tree ring width measurements from the Uinta Mountains in Utah provide a climate proxy record spanning 538 years, from 517 to 21 years before present. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Centers for Environmental Information compiled this paleoclimatology study. Data was archived in 1971.
Users must cite this study when using the data, per NOAA requirements. The calendar year '0' does not exist in the BP scale, so the range 517 to -21 BP represents 538 total years.
