Tree ring width measurements from a Pinus sylvestris (PISY) site at Verhnaja Toima B in Eastern Europe provide a 165-year climate proxy record. The chronology spans from 125 to -40 calendar years before present, offering data from the late pre-industrial period. NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information archived this dataset as part of the World Data Service for Paleoclimatology.
Users must cite the original study when using the data, per NOAA archive requirements. The 'before present' (BP) time convention, where present is 1950, must be accounted for in analysis.
