Tree ring width data from Pinus ponderosa (PIPO) trees at the Rancho Escondido site in the Sierra Madre, Chihuahua, Mexico. The chronology covers a 245-year period from 230 to -15 calendar years before present. This archived study was contributed by Stokes and is maintained by NOAA's World Data Service for Paleoclimatology.
Calendar year notation uses 'BP' (Before Present), where present is 1950; negative values indicate years after 1950. Users must cite the original study (Stokes) when using the data.
