Tree ring width measurements from New Zealand provide a proxy climate record spanning 852 years, from 810 to 42 years before the present era. NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information archives this paleoclimatology study for climate reconstruction research. The data was last updated in the repository in 1992.
The time notation uses 'calendar years before present (BP)', where present is 1950; a year of -42 BP corresponds to 42 BCE. Users must cite the study when using the data.
