Description
GLIDE numbers are GLobal unique IDEntifiers for Disasters registered in a record for interoperability across multiple information sources. The Asian Disaster Reduction Center proposed this common ID to address challenges in accessing scattered and confusing disaster information. The dataset is actively used by institutions including UN-OCHA, UNDRR, UNDP, WMO, IFRC, FAO, the European Commission, and CRED.
