CTD measurements were collected aboard NOAA Ship Pisces to determine physical oceanographic parameters of the water column during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response. The dataset contains processed and quality-checked casts with parameters including temperature, conductivity, depth, dissolved oxygen, and fluorometry. It was produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration from a cruise occurring between August 19 and September 2, 2010.
Data is stored in NetCDF format. The 'last updated' date conflict suggests one platform may list the data collection end date, while another lists a metadata system update.
