A 90 x 90 meter resolution raster dataset estimating the relative contribution of each location to terrestrial habitat connectivity across New South Wales. The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water created the index using a multi-scale habitat link value analysis based on the NSW Habitat Intactness Index. Data are available annually from 2017, with a typical two-year lag for the most recent layer.
Data is provided in GeoTIFF format requiring GIS software for analysis. The index measures relative contribution to connectivity, not absolute habitat connectedness, which is a key distinction noted by the publisher.
