A 1/16-degree resolution coupled physical-biogeochemical model of the California Current System from 28N to 40N and 130W to 114W. The NASA Carbon Monitoring System product is a least squares fit to all available ocean observations for 2007-2010, generated using the MITgcm with BLING biogeochemistry and the ECCO consortium's adjoint method. This Level 4 monthly dataset provides a physically realistic estimate of ocean state variables to support carbon source and sink monitoring.
