NASA's Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 (OCO-2) mission provides the first space-based measurements of atmospheric carbon dioxide with the precision needed to characterize its buildup. Its SIF Lite files deliver daily, bias-corrected solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence, a direct indicator of photosynthetic activity, derived from the 0.76 micrometer O2 A-band. This data is a key output from the IMAP-DOAS preprocessor used in the operational OCO-2 pipeline.
