Description
Single-cell RNA sequencing data from >23,000 CD45+ enriched cells collected from 9 healthy lactating donors. The dataset, authored by Nadine Schrode and shared under a CC-BY-4.0 license, identifies 18 transcriptionally distinct mononuclear myeloid subpopulations, including macrophages, dendritic cells, monocytes, and epithelial-like clusters. It was last updated on May 11, 2026.
Use Cases
Characterizing myeloid cell subpopulations based on the 18 transcriptionally distinct clusters identified
Analyzing donor-specific heterogeneity based on the observation of sub-clusters restricted to 1–2 individuals
Investigating lipid adaptation pathways based on described expression of genes like APOE, LIPA, and APOC1 in macrophages
Modeling intercellular communication networks based on the CellChat analysis revealing MHC-II, SPP1, and MIF signaling
Strengths
Contains data from >23,000 CD45+ enriched cells, providing a substantial sample size for single-cell analysis
