Formative IDI Participant Characteristics for PrEP Shared Decision-Making Tool

41 potential PrEP users and 20 healthcare providers participated in formative in-depth interviews for a PrEP shared decision-making tool. The tool prototype, developed in English and Spanish, was later piloted in mock clinical encounters with 37 potential users and 11 providers. This dataset contains participant characteristics from the formative phase of this study conducted in Washington, DC, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
