Description
564 PHT1, 94 PHT2, 134 PHT3, 228 PHT4, 116 G3Pp, 546 pPT, and 480 SPX-domain phosphate transporter proteins were identified across 40 species from bacteria to higher plants. The dataset includes phylogenetic and structural analysis, motif analysis, and transcriptomic expression patterns in five tissues or under phosphorus starvation for eight vegetable species. It was authored by Junyi Ren and last updated on 2026-05-21.
Use Cases
Comparative phylogenetic analysis based on identified phosphate transporter protein sequences across 40 species.
Identification of tissue-specific expression patterns based on transcriptomic data for eight vegetable species.
Analysis of conserved motifs within phosphate transporter types using MEME program results.
Studying expression responses to phosphorus starvation based on the included transcriptomic data.
Strengths
Contains counts for seven distinct phosphate transporter protein types across 40 species.
Includes transcriptomic expression data for five tissues and under phosphorus starvation conditions for eight vegetable species.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
