Nepal Female Community Health Volunteer Interviews on COVID-19 and Gender Challenges

22 interviews with Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs), health coordinators, and local officials in Nepal, conducted by Abriti Arjyal between December 2020 and January 2021. The qualitative study explores the gendered experiences and challenges FCHVs faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, including family expectations and health system support. Data was analyzed using a thematic framework approach with NVivo 11 Pro software.
