Description
Nadine Schrode's dataset contains differentially expressed genes (DEGs) from single-cell RNA sequencing of over 23,000 CD45+ enriched cells from 9 healthy lactating donors. The data identifies 18 transcriptionally distinct mononuclear myeloid subpopulations, including macrophage, dendritic cell, monocyte, and epithelial-like clusters. It was last updated on May 11, 2026.
Use Cases
Identify cell-type-specific gene expression markers based on the 18 described myeloid sub-clusters.
Analyze donor-specific heterogeneity in immune cell composition based on the observation of sub-clusters restricted to 1-2 individuals.
Investigate lipid metabolism pathways in immune cells based on described transcriptional features of adaptation to the milk environment.
Study intercellular communication networks among immune subsets based on the CellChat analysis revealing MHC-II, SPP1, and MIF signaling.
Strengths
Data is derived from a substantial sample of over 23,000 CD45+ enriched cells.
