Anemia Model Parameters and Validation Data

Herut Dor's minimal mechanistic model of erythropoiesis is validated using data from approximately 1,830 adults across 36 published studies, encompassing healthy individuals and patients with major anemia types. The model, described by four coupled differential equations, reproduces the hemoglobin-erythropoietin relationship and disease-specific deviations through physiologically plausible parameter changes.
