40 neurotypical adults and 15 typically developing children aged 5–11 years participated in novel lexical stress tasks developed by Jill C. Thorson. The dataset, last updated in April 2026, contains perceptual judgments and acoustic analyses of expressive and receptive tasks using familiar multisyllabic words. Results indicate the tasks are feasible and developmentally appropriate for assessing prosody without literacy demands.
