Anal Fistula Patient Interviews on Stigma and Identity

Fifteen participants undergoing active treatment for anal fistula were interviewed at two hospitals. The qualitative study explores experiences of shame, uncertainty, and social withdrawal, analyzing data through three identity-shaping mechanisms: Knowledge Uncertainty, Expectations and Experiences, and Quality-of-Life. The dataset is a 17.5 KB XLS file containing the analysis from this study.
