Qualitative Study on ICU Nurse Resilience and Infection Control Practices, 2025

Twenty-one semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations were conducted between March and June 2025 in two Intensive Care Units. The data, collected by Eva Cappelli, explores how resilience among nurses shapes adherence to infection prevention protocols under clinical urgency. The analysis identified three interrelated themes encompassing eleven categories related to individual, team, and organizational dimensions of resilience.
