84,512 adult patient records with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) from Qatar's public primary care settings were analyzed over a five-year period from January 2018 to December 2022. The dataset, created by Ahmed Sameer Alnuaimi and shared on figshare, focuses on HbA1c levels to assess disease control and examines associations with age, sex, nationality, and comorbidities. The study found a stable 53% yearly prevalence of inadequately controlled T2DM during the last three years of observation.
