Description
Four hub genes (FAM184A, NFKBIA, RP2, HIRA) were identified through bioinformatics analysis of GEO datasets GSE15072 and GSE56815. The dataset includes results from differential expression analysis, immune infiltration, and pan-cancer studies, validated via RT-qPCR in mouse models. Hao Tang published this 45.2 KB dataset under a CC-BY-4.0 license on figshare, last updated in May 2026.
Use Cases
Validate diagnostic biomarkers for osteoporosis and chronic kidney disease based on identified hub genes.
Analyze immune cell infiltration patterns based on the described CIBERSORT results.
Explore pan-cancer prognosis associations based on FAM184A expression levels mentioned in the results.
Identify potential therapeutic agents using the Drug Signatures Database (DSigDB) methodology described.
Strengths
Includes experimental validation via RT-qPCR in established mouse models (CKD and OVX).
Hub genes were evaluated for diagnostic efficacy using ROC curves.
Analysis incorporates multiple GEO datasets (GSE15072, GSE56815, GSE7158, GSE70528) for training and validation.
Limitations
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
The dataset is very small at 45.2 KB, indicating limited scope.
