Maximum Subsidence Basin Settlements from Mining Deformation Monitoring

MAPUNet, a novel multi-scale phase unwrapping method, was developed to monitor large gradient deformations in mining areas. The model achieved a Structural Similarity Index (SSIM) increase of 0.298 compared to the original PUNet under high-noise conditions. Baojing Zhang applied this method to a mining area in Shanxi, recording a maximum settlement of -9.3 cm over one month.
