NASA Ocean Biology DAAC Near Real-Time PAR Data Suite

NASA's Ocean Biology DAAC produces near real-time photosynthetically available radiation (PAR) products using satellite data. These estimates quantify usable light energy at the ocean surface in the 400–700 nm range, support marine primary production estimates, phytoplankton bloom studies. The suite includes daily and instantaneous PAR variables with processing flags.
