paired is a statistical framework developed by Quadry Chance at the University of Florida for determining stellar binarity using Gaia radial velocity data. It estimates the probability of unresolved stellar companions for a large subset of stars surveyed by NASA's Kepler and TESS missions, based on excess radial velocity noise in Gaia Early Data Release 3. The framework is designed to explore the effect of binary companions on planet formation and to help identify false-positive transit candidates.
