Paleozoic rocks in the Pelly Mountains preserve greater than 150 million years of sedimentation, magmatism, and base-metal mineralization. A multi-year project initiated by the Government of Yukon focused on stratigraphy in the Quiet Lake (105F) and Finlayson Lake (105G) map areas. Field studies during summer 2015 examined Cambrian-Ordovician and Devonian-Mississippian rock successions.
