Genetic Parentage Assignments for Wild Banded Mongooses in Uganda, 2000-2019

A nine-generation genetic pedigree provides maternity and paternity assignments for a wild banded mongoose population. Data was generated from DNA extracted from tail tips and analyzed using the MASTERBAYES program to calculate assignment probabilities. This resource was used to study lifetime reproductive success and the fitness impacts of intergroup conflict.
