Description
PATHWAY-27 is a multi-centre, randomized, double-blind pilot dietary intervention study. The data contains serum triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, blood pressure, and other biomarkers measured at recruitment, day 1, and day 28. Samantha Sutulic from the University of Leeds is the author of this Open Access dataset.
Use Cases
Modeling changes in lipid parameters based on dietary intervention described in the study
Analyzing correlations between body measurements like BMI and abdominal circumference with blood biomarkers such as triglycerides
Studying temporal patterns in blood pressure and glucose levels across three measurement time points
Developing methods for analyzing small-scale, multi-centre pilot clinical trial data
Strengths
Data originates from a multi-centre, randomized, double-blind pilot study, suggesting a controlled collection method.
Includes repeated measurements (recruitment, day 1, day 28) for tracking changes over time.
Covers multiple health domains with variables like serum lipids, blood pressure, glucose, and anthropometrics.
Limitations
Access to the actual data files is restricted and requires a separate request; only variable documents are immediately available.
Row count, file formats, and column-level documentation are unknown, limiting suitability assessment.
Last update date is unknown; freshness unverified.
