Pathways of HIV Disclosure in South African Youth from the BREATHER Plus Trial

Thirty-five young people aged 12-19 living with vertically acquired HIV in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, participated in this qualitative study. Data from 29 longitudinal in-depth interviews and 12 participants across three focus group discussions were analyzed using the Disclosure Processes Model. The dataset, authored by Tamlyn Carmin Seunanden and shared on figshare, explores the bidirectional pathways of onward HIV disclosure in relationships.
