Petrel Sub-basin Marine Survey: Seabed Video and Images for CO2 Storage Assessment

Underwater video footage and 12-megapixel still images were collected from 11 stations in the Petrel Sub-basin during May 2012. The survey was conducted by the RV Solander as a collaboration between the Australian Institute of Marine Science and Geoscience Australia under the National Low Emission Coal Initiative. The primary purpose was to acquire biophysical data on shallow seabed environments to investigate CO2 storage potential.
