Description
AGSO's 1995-96 Petrel Sub-basin Study aimed to understand the stratigraphic and structural development of the basin for resource exploration. The study defined basement elements, tectonic events, basin fill, and factors controlling petroleum systems. It was conducted by the Marine, Petroleum and Sedimentary Resources Division as part of the North West Shelf Project.
