Description
Two ongoing global Phase III clinical trial protocols for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) are described. MEVPRO-1 targets ~600 patients with prior abiraterone treatment, while MEVPRO-2 targets ~900 treatment-naïve patients. The trials, authored by Neal D. Shore and published on figshare in 2026, compare mevrometostat plus enzalutamide against standard therapies.
Use Cases
Analyze trial design and patient eligibility criteria based on the described inclusion/exclusion parameters
Compare treatment arms and dosing regimens based on the described 1:1 randomization to mevrometostat plus enzalutamide versus physician's choice
Study primary and secondary endpoints for oncology trials based on the described radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) and overall survival objectives
Strengths
Protocols are for large-scale Phase III trials with planned enrollments of ~600 and ~900 patients
Includes specific clinical trial registration identifiers (NCT06551324, NCT06629779) for verification
Describes detailed patient criteria, including ECOG performance status and prior treatment history
Limitations
Description metadata is limited; actual data quality requires manual inspection after download
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download
The dataset is a small 84.2 KB document, containing only the trial protocols without patient-level data
