Lihua Zhang from Minzu University of China published a study on grassland methane sinks. The research includes a 4-year field experiment and a meta-analysis of 382 data points from global grasslands. It estimates that nitrogen deposition suppresses the global grassland methane sink by 11%, while concurrent phosphorus deposition alleviates this suppression by 6%.
