PHYCUT is a plasmid-based CRISPR/Cas9 system developed to overcome the lack of a robust multiplex editing tool in the marine diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum. Emily E. Stuckless published the dataset on figshare in April 2026, demonstrating multiplex editing of three FucT genes to reduce protein fucosylation. The 10.4 KB Excel file likely contains experimental results from applying this genome engineering tool.
