Description
From May 1985 to September 1987, temperature and salinity profiles were collected via CTD and STD casts from the R/Vs Thomas G. Thompson and Thomas Washington in the North Pacific Ocean. The data, processed by the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) to the F022 standard format, provide nearly continuous vertical profiles at depth intervals as fine as one meter. Each cast includes cruise and instrument metadata, position, date, time, and may also contain environmental data from the time of the cast, such as meteorological conditions.
