Slocum glider RU28 collected over 2 weeks of physical oceanographic measurements in the shallow coastal waters of New Jersey. The dataset, archived by NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information, provides CTD data on temperature, salinity, conductivity, and density from a 2017 deployment. Rutgers University's Center for Ocean Observing Leadership deployed the glider for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's yearly coastal oxygen monitoring program.
Primary data format is netCDF, requiring compatible tools for analysis. Additional parameters like oxygen measurements are promised but not yet included in this accession.
