Glider RU29 collected 82 days of temperature, conductivity, salinity, and density profile observations in the Indian Ocean. Rutgers University and the University of Western Australia deployed the autonomous underwater vehicle as part of the Challenger Glider Mission, a modern re-creation of the 1872-1876 HMS Challenger survey. The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) archived this data package in November 2018.
