PVO: Pioneer Venus Orbiter Solar Wind and Magnetic Field Data, 1978-1992

Pioneer Venus Orbiter (PVO) collected nearly continuous measurements of the solar wind and magnetic field from its orbit around Venus. This merged dataset provides 10-minute averages of interplanetary magnetic field, solar wind plasma, and spacecraft trajectory parameters from 1978-12 06 to 1988-08-07, taken when the spacecraft was in the solar wind outside Venus's bow shock. The data were converted to CDF format from flatfiles provided by UCLA.
