Description
Oregon water rights data depicting the location of each water right diversion point (POD) and place of use (POU) polygon. The dataset includes all current and individually held water rights, excluding those held by irrigation districts, applications, temporary transfers, instream leases, and limited licenses. It is maintained by the State of Oregon and was last updated in March 2026.
Use Cases

Analyze agricultural land use patterns based on the Places of Use (POU) polygon data.
Assess water rights distribution and ownership for regulatory compliance based on the associated water right information.

Data is explicitly geospatial, containing both point (POD) and polygon (POU) features.
Includes all current and individually held water rights, providing a broad scope for analysis.
