A lidar-based method retrieves planetary boundary layer height (PBLH) to track diurnal variations, with an adapted algorithm for cloudy conditions. The dataset includes a quality-control flag and eliminates rainy cases. It was developed by Tianning Su at the University of Maryland, College Park, based on research published in 2020 and 2022.
