The Port Fairy Local Coastal Hazard Assessment (LCHA) provides geospatial data on coastal hazard extents and physical impacts for the Port Fairy area. It models shoreline setback due to erosion under the assumption that existing seawalls remain in place, incorporating allowances for storm erosion, dune stability, underlying recession, and future sea level rise across planning horizons for 2050, 2080, and 2100. The dataset is published by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action on data.gov.au and was last updated in April 2026.
Data is provided in multiple geospatial formats (DWG, SHP, GDB, etc.). Users are directed to external project reports for critical assumptions and limitations.
